Gran Caribe Group bets for excellence in Varadero resort
The Gran Caribe Hotel Business Group (GC) is betting on this spa, the most important in Cuba, for the excellence of services, said Ismary Hernández, delegate of the company in this tourist center.
"Our strategic intention is to be an efficient sector and achieve full customer satisfaction," commented the main representative here of GC, founded on August 1, 1994, close to 25 years of practice in the Cuban tourism industry. .
Hernandez explained that the Melia Internacional hotel, which began operations earlier this year, is close to being fully completed, but the second construction phase is still to be completed, which would add more than 900 rooms to the hotel facility in this location.
He pointed out that when that building is finished, Gran Caribe will have six thousand 56 rooms distributed in 13 facilities in Varadero, 28 percent of the rooms of this important sun and beach resort, located in the north of the province of Matanzas and 150 kilometers away from East of Havana.
The directive said that the investment projects include expanding the capacity of the islets located in the Paso Malo canal, which connects the southern part of Varadero with the Cárdenas bay.
Hernández pointed out that as the main source markets for visitors to the buildings of GC in Varadero, Canada, national tourism, Russia, Germany and Mexico.
According to statistical data, Gran Caribe has 54 hotels and has a presence in the most important tourist regions of the Greater Antilles.
Present in environments of heritage cities, beaches and cays, the consortium offers vacationers the opportunity to enjoy unique experiences and sensations in the most diverse tourist destinations on the island.
Among the attributes that distinguish the Group are the cubanía, the heritage and the privileged geographical location of its hotels. An important strength is the historical-cultural heritage that is present in many of the facilities.
Currently, the Group operates part of its hotel complex with nine prestigious international chains, which manage 63 percent of its hotels, the source added.
