The Tennis Beach is located in the south eastern part of the Bay of Matanzas, in the space that forms the edge of the coastline with the pedraplen that crosses a few meters from this and forms the General Betancourt avenue, in the City of Matanzas, known like the Athens of Cuba.

The Tennis Beach is one of the five sandy shores that are found within the city, on the road that leads to the world-famous Balneario de Varadero, the first tourist destination of sun and sea on the Island of Cuba.

It is a small but beautiful beach of fine white sand, calm waters because it is protected by the pedraplen and the bridge that gives way to the sea water that penetrates through it.

It has guano umbrellas all over the shore to shelter the bathers and a wall in the part that faces the street to avoid spreading the sand to other places. Very close to the Tennis Beach there is a Recreational Center and Restaurant with the same name of great popularity.
