La Loma de la Cruz, emerges at 261 meters above sea level, in the city of Holguin, Cuba. It constitutes an almost obligatory visit for visitors to the city and shelter for inspired artists.

La Loma de la Cruz is named after the existence of a wooden cross on its top, an insurance symbol for many, empty of promises or original ornament for others, La Loma de la Cruz, with 458 steps, intermediate breaks and benches included that in the middle of the ascent may seem the most comfortable in the world, its rise is quite strong for those who are not physically fit.

Currently, a road was built on the backside of Loma de la Cruz, through which you can climb without much effort (by car) and enjoy the good food of the restaurant that is located at the top as part of the tourist complex, and admire the City of Holguin from above.

Finally, it is recommended the ascent by the stairway to the Hill of the Cross, which I assure you will never forget, and that has been declared a Colonial Archaeological Historical Monument of the island of Cuba.
