Gibara is a small city located on the north east coast of the Republic of Cuba. The White Villa as it is also known, is head of the municipality of the same name, belonging to the Province of Holguin.

The small city, founded on January 16, 1817, has a rich history and culture of its own according to the lineage of its foundation and a beautiful and lush landscape, beautiful architectural sites and a perfect layout of its houses, streets and parks, but the largest wealth according to the visitors is its people, cooperative, human, affectionate and a little egotistical, proud of its town and its history.

The White Villa, although small, has a peculiar charm, the contrast of an architectural heritage treasured for two centuries, its lush landscapes, and the sense of belonging and cultural roots of its people, makes everyone who visits it pledged by it and be forced to return again and again to this land, which in the words of Admiral Christopher Columbus "is the most beautiful land that human eyes saw."
