Hostal ALMAR is a holiday accommodation located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, in the southeastern part of the Caribbean Museum City “Trinidad”, just fifteen minutes walk from the center. Our house is modern and comfortable, with absolute cleanliness. We will always receive you with a welcome cocktail.

We can provide you with the laundry and ironing service with reasonable prices. Ideal for couples and friends because it has two personal beds and supplies every two days that goes by the house, although the cleaning of the room is daily without surcharges.

We have a modern kitchen where you can taste the exquisite Creole food that we will prepare for you when you ask for it with flexible prices, including that you can learn to cook it with us if you like.

Our kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, blender, where we will prepare the delicacies for your palate. The dining room table is wide ideal for dinner with friends, although we also have space our natural patio, to have an outdoor dinner if you wish. A light breakfast will always be included in your reservation.

We also have some board games that we can provide, if you go by car we will look for a place to protect it for a small fee. We are a couple of doctors married 23 years ago with two teenage children, we like to go on excursions and enjoy Cuban music, so we will guide you on your vacation if you wish.

We master the Spanish, English and French languages. The neighborhood is quiet and there are other rental houses where you can interact with other tourists who book nearby, the neighbors are friendly and almost all are professionals.

The bus station to the beach is only 10 minutes walk from the accommodation, although you can go by bicycle which you can rent in the house itself, because it is only 12 km away, the Ancón beach ranked among the top ten in Cuba for its white sands and crystal clear waters.

We also offer horseback riding, dives and hiking with experienced guides and flexible prices. You can also visit the Valle de los Ingenios, declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, where you will have experiences of the Spanish colonial era on the island and the cultivation and processing of sugar cane.

The historic center of the city is impressive with almost one km of cobbled streets, where you can enjoy traditional cultural activities such as peasant music, trova, Afro-Cuban shows and a variety of handmade items very typical of our villa. The natural park of Topes de Collantes will be an unforgettable experience with its trails, rivers, jumps and unique nature. The nightlife is another attraction of Trinidad because there are shows and nightclubs for the enjoyment of good Cuban music, in places like La casa de la música,

The salsa corner, Casa Artex, the house of the trova, the Yesterday bar (dedicated to Anglo-Saxon music) and the Ayala Disco located inside a natural cavern.
